Permanent cosmetics heal in stages. Here's what the timeline actually looks like — day of, and once healed.
Every service starts with a consultation — bone structure, skin type, and desired outcome are all assessed before anything is scheduled. A $100 non-refundable deposit secures your appointment and is applied toward your service.
Pre-numbing topical is applied before work begins. Pigment is placed fresh, and color will appear bold and saturated immediately after — this is normal and expected, and it softens significantly over the following days.
Color softens by roughly 30–40% as the skin heals. Light flaking is normal. Aftercare instructions are provided at every appointment to protect the result.
A follow-up touch-up at 7–12 weeks perfects saturation and symmetry. Annual maintenance keeps color fresh long-term.

You will not be able to donate blood for 1 year following your procedure. Avoid alcohol, ibuprofen, and eat properly for 48 hours before your procedure. No caffeine the day of.
It is normal to lose about a third of the color during healing. Color may look a shade too dark right after the procedure, then too light after 7–10 days, developing further and softening as it fully heals.
A confidential health history covering current medications, allergies, skin conditions, pacemakers, pregnancy, tobacco use, prior permanent makeup, and related items — the same questionnaire in the Medical Profile form below. Completing it ahead of your appointment lets Amy flag anything relevant before you arrive.
By signing this form in person, you'll acknowledge: the nature, method, and risks of your procedure have been explained to you, including the possibility of complications, temporary pain, and rare fading or loss of pigment. While Amy's techniques typically require only one touch-up 8–10 weeks after the initial procedure, 100% success cannot be guaranteed due to differences in skin type and undertone — supply fees apply to the first follow-up, and additional fees apply for extra touch-ups or a requested color/size change.
You'll also acknowledge that there is no guarantee against allergic reaction to pigments, that you agree to follow all pre- and post-procedure instructions, that you consent to Amy's use of your procedure photographs for business purposes, and that you accept responsibility for your chosen color, shape, and size as an elective procedure. Eyebrow clients agree to wait until fully healed (4 weeks) before any Botox, acknowledging this may shift the brow design. Corrective/secondary procedure clients acknowledge that pre-existing pigment may affect the outcome and that more than one correction attempt may be needed. A no-refund policy applies.
By signing this form in person, you'll give permission for your likeness, image, or appearance to be used in photos, video, or digital images taken on behalf of Amy Suggitt, with Amy retaining full ownership and copyright. These may be used for illustrations, bulletins, exhibitions, educational materials, and similar business purposes, and you release Amy Suggitt, her agents, and assigns from claims connected with that use.
Touch-up and consultation bookings require a $25 payment; consultations are no longer free. Cancellations require a minimum of 24 hours' notice — canceling within that window requires a 50% fee of scheduled services before rebooking, though a reschedule carries only a $25 fee. A no-show requires a non-refundable 50% fee of scheduled services before rebooking.
Arriving more than 10 minutes late requires a $25 fee to reschedule, out of fairness to clients scheduled after you. A $100 deposit is still required to book a new service, applied toward that service, and can be transferred to a new appointment date only once.
Completing this ahead of time helps Amy flag anything relevant before your appointment. Consent, photography release, and policy forms are signed in person, day of service.
